Sunday School

All of our Sunday School groups meet from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM on Sunday mornings. Quality childcare is provided during this hour through the church nursery, pre-school and children’s Sunday School classes.

Before you get to your Sunday School group, be sure to stop by the Ross Resource Café located in the Library for some fine fellowship and refreshments to get you going!

Friends in Faith

Location:  North Classroom
Leader:  Marv Smith

Group Profile:
Our class is made up of singles and couples that range from thirties through sixties (many couples with school age children).

Our theme for the class can be found in Proverbs 3:5:
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.”
This requires an attitude and understanding that God’s word is final and it governs all areas of our life; it even trumps our own thoughts and advice from others. It is our desire that we surrender 100% obedience to God’s word.

The goals of this class are:
· to create lives and friendships that are Christ centered and focused,
· to create an atmosphere where we can be an encouragement as well as receive encouragement so that we will be faithful in our daily walk with Christ,
· for each of us to be obedient to God’s word and the Holy Spirit in every area of living.

We encourage you to visit the Sunday School class, as well as to be a guest at our occasional “Fun Night Out.” If you come you will be sure to find a warm and friendly environment!

Navigators

Location:  Fireside Room
Leader:  Joe Linert

Group Profile:
The Nav Class consists of single and married adults, who range in age from mid twenties to seventies.  We have young Christian believers to mature Christian believers who offer a range of perspectives, interests, and fellowship opportunities. Our mission as a class is
· to effectively teach God’s Word,
· to disciple Believers in their personal growth through God’s Word,
· to pray for Christ’s Headship, the empowering of the Holy Spirit, and for the needs of His Body,
· to reach out to the community (especially to non-believers),
· to engage in fellowship and fun.

Our class participates in service and outreach opportunities several times a month, and schedules monthly fellowship outings.

Bereans

“Now the Bereans were of more noble character than the Thessalonians, for they   received the   message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true” (Acts 17:11).

Location:  South Classroom
Leaders:  Jim Sparling, Teacher
                 Harley Smith, Class President
                 Lewis Cowan, Co-President
Study:  The book of Romans

Group Profile:
The Bereans are a more mature class in age, from the fifties and sixties on up through the nineties (but always young at heart!). We have a love for studying the Scriptures, and a love for serving the Lord.
